North Carolina's organizations, a highly incomplete list

Here you'll find a list of organizations active in North Carolina. Most entries link to a website for the organization. Otherwise, you'll find some other contact information for them.

Obviously this list doesn't include all organizations in North Carolina. Not even close. This prototype list just illustrates the format this list will take when complete.

We can sort the organizations that make up our movement into three categories:

  1. 1. Issue organizations

    These organizations seek to unite and represent people that share their views on a particular issue (or on a set of issues).

  2. 2. Identity organizations

    These organizations seek to unite and represent people who share some commonality, often the commonality of belonging to the same oppressed group.

  3. 3. Infrastructure organizations

    These organizations seek to serve the whole movement by providing something needed by many organizations.
